Murder on the Train

You and your team have received reports that a body has been discovered on board a train!

Using your smartphones (or our tablets if using our fully managed delivery) and our interactive app, you must work together to virtually explore the carriages, examine witness statements and search for evidence to uncover what happened.

- Complete a variety of challenges, examining witness statements, and uncovering clues via augmented reality to earn the most points.
- Everyone is a suspect so it’s up to you to learn about the passengers and the events of the night in question.
- The winning team will be the detectives who find the killer and score the most points. If the case isn’t solved then the winners will be the team with the most points!
- It can be fully hosted by us using our tablets and provided winner’s medals, remotely hosted by us or self-hosted by you, using your smartphones.

How do we get set up?

We will provide you with step-by-step instructions ahead of the day. Simply download our Mobile Adventures app to your own device, then scan the QR code we send you. If you select our fully managed delivery we provide you with the tablets onsite.

What do we need to take part in Murder on the Train?

You’ll need access to a laptop with video conferencing software such as Zoom or Google Meet (if not in person). A smart device with our Mobile Adventures app and a stable WIFI/good mobile internet connection. (If you’ve chosen our fully managed delivery, we provide our tablets, internet and WIFI).

How does Murder on the Train work on the day?

Teams will be briefed by one of our experienced hosts and then break off into smaller groups (or breakout rooms). Our expert host will be on standby throughout the activity to support teams, encourage communication and provide a fun virtual wrap-up at the end of the activity.

What do you provide with the fully managed service for Murder on the Train?

With our ‘fully managed service’ we provided the tablets, 2 in character presenters and winners medals.

Customer Responsibilities

Book a meeting room for the participants that will be attending in person

Share the meeting link and instructions we send you, to the participants (if virtually hosted or self managed).

Ensure participant devices and the venue have stable internet access and users have downloaded the app from the app store before the event.

Arrange your participants into teams before the event, or if remotely delivered we can randomly put participants into teams on the day.
